Signed NDA before any engagement begins. Every aspect of the retreat — including the names of other participants, the content of sessions, and the deliverables produced — is protected by a client-specific Non-Disclosure Agreement.

No photography, media, or recording. Devices are stored in secure lockboxes during all deep-work sessions. All staff, chefs, and security personnel sign independent NDAs.

Anonymous identifiers only. Retreat materials reference first names or anonymous identifiers. No participant's identity is disclosed to any other participant without explicit consent.

Staggered departures. Arrival and departure logistics are coordinated to ensure that no two participants are identified in the same location at the same time.

Kalanie Petersen is the Founding Principal of EBS Firm Inc. — a boutique multi-family office serving ultra-high-net-worth families, founders, and family office principals with a minimum of $50 million in investable assets.

Over more than sixteen years, she has built deep expertise at the intersection of complex wealth structures, proactive tax architecture, generational succession, and executive leadership — advising clients whose financial decisions carry consequences that extend well beyond a single balance sheet.

Her approach moves clients away from reactive compliance and toward the kind of sophisticated, integrated frameworks typically reserved for institutional capital. This intensive reflects the exact frameworks deployed within active EBS Firm client engagements — delivered in a format that creates the depth and privacy required for genuine recalibration.

Due to the preparation involved and the capped participation, we do not offer refunds once an application is accepted and the pre-retreat protocol has commenced. In extraordinary circumstances, participation may be deferred to a future cohort at our discretion.

Every element of the retreat is governed by a signed NDA. No photography, recording, or media is permitted. All staff sign independent NDAs. Participants are referenced by first name or anonymous identifier only. Departures are staggered for privacy.
Each of the three participant seats is reserved for an individual who qualifies independently. A spouse, business partner, or co-founder may apply for their own seat. External advisors do not attend sessions — the retreat is designed for principals only.
Yes. Two 45-minute executive follow-up sessions are included within 45 days of departure. Participants who wish to continue working with EBS Firm in an ongoing advisory capacity are invited to apply for the Private Advisory Circle.
Given the preparation and the capped nature of the cohort, accepted participants who cannot attend forfeit their seat and investment. In genuine emergencies, deferral to a future cohort may be considered at our sole discretion.
International flights and transfers to St. Barts are the responsibility of each participant. Our concierge team is available to coordinate secure transfers, ground transportation, and logistics upon request — under the same NDA as all other engagements.
